My Why...Navigating Perimenopause and Creating My Own Sanctuary

Let’s be real—perimenopause is not exactly a walk in the park. One minute, I’m feeling like a boss, ready to take on the world, and the next minute, I’m overwhelmed by mood swings, feeling exhausted, and wondering why my favorite jeans suddenly don’t fit. It's like going through puberty all over again, except now there’s more coffee, more chaos, and way less patience. Sound familiar?

As I started navigating this rollercoaster of physical and emotional changes, I realized that my home—the one place that should bring me peace—was actually adding to my stress. Between the clutter, the constant feeling of being overwhelmed, and the lack of spaces that truly felt relaxing, I knew something had to change. And that’s when I had my "aha" moment.

I've had so many friends and family ask..." how do you keep up with everything, how are you so organized in the midst of all of the chaos?" Well, while I finally figured out that I was not actually dying and that my anxiety (plus a million other issues ) was actually due to Perimenopause, I found that my home was my only safety net. As I worked on simplifying my routines and making my home a place I loved, I realized how powerful these changes were. This journey inspired me to create a course to help other women who might be feeling just as overwhelmed as I once did, so they too can transform their homes into spaces that support their well-being."

This course is so important to me because it’s not just about pretty decor or following the latest trends. It’s about creating a home that truly feels like a sanctuary, a place where I can escape the craziness of life and focus on my well-being. And I know that so many other women are feeling the same way—trying to juggle motherhood, work, relationships, and now perimenopause, all while keeping a smile on our faces (even when we just want to scream into a pillow!).

I wanted to create a course that helps other women, like me, take control of their space and make it work for them. A space that supports their emotional health, encourages self-care, and gives them room to breathe during this stage of life. Because we deserve homes that make us feel at peace, homes that lift us up when life gets heavy.

So yes, this course is deeply personal to me. It’s my way of sharing what I’ve learned on this journey—how to simplify, declutter, and design spaces that actually help us feel better. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that a calming, clutter-free home can make all the difference in how we navigate this wild chapter called perimenopause. And trust me, if I can do it, so can you!
